Marketing Your Property

When a property is brought under management or a vacate notice is received, the property is immediately entered onto our Availability List. This list indicates the availability date as well as a picture and detail information about the property. Every week (Wednesdays at 8 am), our property management team (leasing, maintenance, owner/tenant relations, managers) meets to go over each property on the list and strategize on price, property condition/improvements and our advertising technique, as well as anything else that will help us secure new tenants.

Barker Realty will advertise on behalf of the owner to promote the property and secure tenants in the following ways:

24-Hour Telephone Rental Hotline

Barker Realty's phone system provides 24-hour information to prospective tenants. All available properties are described sorted by number of bedrooms and price. To access the Barker Realty hot line, simply call our main phone number at (919) 859-0068 and select the appropriate option.

Signs

Barker Realty, Inc. places rental signs at each rental property in highly visible locations.

Brochures and Brochure Boxes

Barker Realty, Inc. includes brochures and rental brochures on some properties. There is also a brochure box located in front of our offices at 1401 Sunday Drive with copies of the availability list so that potential tenants can come by the office to pick up hard copies 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Barker Realty's web site is updated every time a vacate notice is received, a new property is taken on, or a property is leased. The site provides pictures and information on all of our available rental properties.

News and Observer Ads

Barker Realty, Inc. has multiple ads in the Raleigh N&O. Prices provided by request.

MLS

Barker Realty, Inc. also advertises properties for rent in the Triangle Multiple Listing Service. Real Estate agents throughout the triangle are given a $30 commission for securing tenants.

Updates to Referral Agencies

Barker Realty, Inc. provides updates to rental referral agencies and relocation agencies indicating current available properties.
