Barker Realty, Inc. begins marketing a property as soon as a vacancy notification is received from a tenant, or a new property is brought under our management.
We will advertise on behalf of the owner to promote the property and secure tenants in the following ways:

- Signs

- MLS/Realtor.com
- Raleigh Chamber of Commerce
- Craigslist
- GoSection8 (if the property is one that accepts housing vouchers)
- Rental Homes Plus (this advertising is an additional $29 cost to the owner per month)
- Postlets
Availability List
We put out a weekly availability list that displays all of our current rental availabilities. This availability list is available for emailing, faxing and for pick-up from our office. Our showing agent has copies available for prospects to take with them after a showing. This availability list is updated and put out for distribution on each Monday.
Signs
Rental signs are placed at each rental property in highly visible locations.

Our website is updated every time a change is made with a listing. This includes activating a new property, changing price/details about a property, or removing the property when it has been leased/withdrawn from the market. The website displays pictures, maps and detailed information about each of the available properties.
MLS/Realtor.com
We advertise properties for rent in the Triangle Multiple Listing Service. The property will stay active in the MLS system until it has been leased or removed from the market. This allows other Realtors to show the property by scheduling an appointment through a calling service (CSS).
